In the event of a weather-related emergency, please note that Cardinal Gibbons follows the direction of Broward County Public Schools for all closures.

In regard to the re-opening of the school, Cardinal Gibbons will make decisions independently. Parents will receive direct communication from Cardinal Gibbons once it is safe for the school to re-open and for classes to resume. 

Both the closure and re-opening of the school will be communicated to parents via email and phone call. Additional information regarding the opening or closing of the school, as well as cancelation of major afterschool activities and alterations to regular bus routes, will be posted on our website.
