This morning, Cardinal Gibbons participated in the Inaugural Catholic Schools Week Mass with Archbishop Thomas Wenski at Saint Mary Cathedral. Sixty-three schools were in attendance. Senior Blair Nathaniel served as a reader and Senior Maximos Barogiannis carried the Cardinal Gibbons banner at the opening procession. As part of the many Catholic Schools Week activities our students are learning about vocations during their Theology classes and on Friday will have a dress-down day to support not-for-profit Walking with Anthony. Catholic Schools Week celebrates the contribution that Catholic education provides to children and youth, to our Church, to our communities, and to our nation.
