Students Collect Hundreds of Items and $2,000 for Local Food Ministries through Thanksgiving Food Drive

Cardinal Gibbons' Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, which ran from Nov. 18-21, collected hundreds of non-perishable food items to support local families through four food ministries. In addition to the food items graciously donated by members of the Cardinal Gibbons community, students also raised $2,000 through a "Charity Dress Down Day." All of the proceeds were donated as Publix gift cards to cover the costs of any additional food items that the ministries needed in preparation for Thanksgiving.

Items and gift cards were donated to Sheridan House, Jubilee Center, San Isidro Food Ministry and All Saints Soup Kitchen, and were delivered by students on Friday, Nov. 22.
