A team of students from St. Mark's Episcopal School took first place at the 2019 Cardinal Gibbons Brain Brawl, which was held on Saturday, Nov. 23. Mary Help of Christians and St. Coleman won second and third overall, respectively, out of five local middle school teams.

The Brain Brawl, which is hosted by the Cardinal Gibbons National Honor Society and club moderator Dr. Stephen Louy, is a Jeopardy-style trivia competition that tests competitors' knowledge in key subject areas, including mathematics, science, literature and current events, among others.
