Sosa and Z. Dumas Earn Top Speaker Honors at Cypress Bay's Tradition Tournament

Roberto Sosa and Zach Dumas, members of the Cardinal Gibbons Speech and Debate team, earned top speaker awards at the Tradition Speech and Debate tournament, hosted virtually by Cypress Bay High School on Saturday, Nov. 14 and Sunday, Nov. 15.
Sosa, who took first place in Lincoln-Douglas Debate at the 2019 Tradition tournament, won the 2020 Top Speaker Award, while Zach Dumas earned the Second Best Speaker Award.
In addition to the awards won by Sosa and Dumas, senior Alex Dumas was also able to qualify for the Octofinal Round in Lincoln-Douglas Debate.
