Science Olympiad Team Finishes Third in Grovetown Invitational; Hajdic and Francis Take First in Gravity Vehicle Event

The Cardinal Gibbons Science Olympiad team placed third overall at the Grovetown High School Invitation in Grovetown, Georgia, on Saturday, Dec. 14. 

The invitational, which is Cardinal Gibbons' second of the season, featured 23 different team-based events, each incorporating different fields of science, such as biology, chemistry and robotics. The duo of Merit Hajdic and Nick Francis took first place overall in the Gravity Vehicle event, leading the way in points for Cardinal Gibbons.
