Retired Broadway Stage Manager with Over 40-Years of Experience Shares Insights with Cardinal Gibbons Drama Students

Richard Costabile, a retired Broadway stage manager, shared key industry insights and valuable lessons with Cardinal Gibbons drama students during a presentation on Feb. 24. 

Costabile, who has over 40-years of experience in the theater industry, has worked on numerous famous productions including The Odd Couple, Mark Twain Tonight!, Translations and Anna in the Tropics, among othersHe informed students about the various opportunities within the theater industry and shared what he had experienced over his extensive career. 

Students in attendance learned what it was like to work with some of the industry's most accomplished actors, directors, designers and stage managers, as well as what it takes to be successful on Broadway. 

Erick Crow, director of drama and choral activities, said, "[We are] so lucky to have had him speak to us and inspire and guide our drama students."
