Juniors and Seniors Participate in "Day in the Life of a Nurse" Program at Holy Cross

On Friday, Oct. 4, 25 Cardinal Gibbons juniors and seniors joined students from St. Thomas Aquinas and Westminster Academy for the 20th annual "Day in the Life of a Nurse" program at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale.
This select group of students, accompanied by advisor Ms. Kathy Blyth, spent the day shadowing numerous healthcare professionals in various departments including pharmacy, speech-language pathology, radiology and physical therapy. While shadowing, students gained hands-on experience in various medical training exercises and gained insights into the various educational and professional opportunities available within the field of nursing.
