Coach Louise Crocco and CGHS Volleyball Teams Inducted into Broward County Sports Hall of Fame

On October 16, Coach Louise Crocco and the Cardinal Gibbons High School 1975–1979 4A Women’s Volleyball Teams were officially inducted into the 2025 Broward County Sports Hall of Fame.
These legendary teams made history by winning five consecutive state championships, a remarkable achievement that cemented their place in Florida high school sports history. Their legacy continues to inspire current and future generations of student-athletes at Cardinal Gibbons.
The induction recognizes not only their record-setting success on the court but also the lasting impact they’ve had on the Broward County athletic community. We are proud to celebrate this incredible honor and the enduring influence of Coach Crocco and her championship teams.
