Christmas Wishes from the Cardinal Gibbons Family & a Special Performance from Sophia Spencer '21
Erin Herbert

Throughout this Advent season, we have been blessed with the opportunity to reflect upon our actions and intentions as we prepare our hearts for the birth of Jesus Christ.

As part of our celebration of this season of gratefulness, we invite you to listen to one of our incredibly talented chorus members, Sophia Spencer ‘21, perform “Thankful.”

Though the past few months, for many of us, have been filled with uncertainty, may we take time to shift our focus away from the hardships we have endured and, instead, reflect upon blessings that have helped us through difficult times. Because, despite the challenges that 2020 has brought, we still have so much to be thankful for.

As leaders of the Cardinal Gibbons community, we, too, realize that there is so much that we can give thanks for this Christmas season.

We are thankful for our students; each day, they inspire us to challenge ourselves and become educators. We are thankful for our faculty and staff, who have worked tirelessly to support our students and ensure their wellbeing. We are thankful for our parents; their trust, support and — most importantly — prayers have been instrumental in our success as a school community.  Lastly, we are thankful for our alumni and community members, who have continued to support and uplift the Cardinal Gibbons family, even in times of uncertainty.

As we continue to wait for the arrival of our Savior, may we continue to reflect upon all that He has provided and look forward to what He has planned for each of us.

On behalf of the entire Cardinal Gibbons family, we extend our sincere gratitude to you and wish you a Merry Christmas! May you and your family be blessed with peace and prosperity in the new year.
