CGTV Welcomes Filmmaker and Pilot Lee Giat
Suzanna Zaden

CGTV had the opportunity to hear from filmmaker, pilot, and business owner Lee Giat, who visited campus to share his journey of turning passion into purpose. Speaking to students about “letting your dreams take flight,” Lee offered insight into how he built a dynamic multimedia career that seamlessly combines aviation and filmmaking.

During his visit, Lee introduced students to his feature-length film Wright of Passage, which chronicles his journey to South America to deliver science education supplies to local schools. Through storytelling and real-world experience, he highlighted the impact of using one’s talents to serve others.

Students also had the unique opportunity to view and learn about some of the actual equipment used during filming, providing a hands-on, behind-the-scenes perspective of the production process.

We are grateful to Lee for sharing his time, expertise, and inspiring message with our CGTV students.
