Cardinal Gibbons Students Perform in Fort Lauderdale Children's Ballet Theatre's "Sleeping Beauty"

Junior Ellie Byrd, sophomores Ashley Anderson and Courtney Reiss, and freshman Sofia Rizzo performed in the Fort Lauderdale Children's Ballet Theatre presentation of "Sleeping Beauty," on Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Byrd, Anderson, Reiss and Rizzo each had roles as dancers in the ballet version of the enchanting and timeless tale of Princess Aurora and her awakening upon receiving the kiss of her true love.
In addition to the four students who performed on stage, junior Natalya Escobar and sophomore Alina Horodecki worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that the show was a success.
