Cardinal Gibbons was named Best High School in Fort Lauderdale 2020 by Fort Lauderdale Magazine. 

Fort Lauderdale Magazine writes: "There was a lot of school spirit in our highly competitive 'Best High School' online vote. But the Bayview Drive Catholic school is a place where "the Gibbons family" is more than a slogan, and they know how to rally to support their school. Gibbons showed its commitment to caring at the end of the last school year when it was one of the local schools to pioneer COVID-safe drive-by ceremonies and home visits for graduating seniors. Even in these unusual times, it’s a school that puts community and fellowship at the heart of what it does."

St. Thomas Aquinas and Pine Crest were named Runners Up in the Best High School category.
