Cardinal Gibbons High School Presents "Shrek the Musical"

Cardinal Gibbons High School is excited to announce its production of "Shrek the Musical," running from November 7th to 9th at 7 PM, with a matinee on November 10th at 2 PM. The performances will take place at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center located on the Nova Southeastern University Campus.

Based on the beloved DreamWorks film, "Shrek the Musical" follows the story of Shrek, an ogre who values his solitude in a swamp. When fairy tale creatures are exiled to his home by the ambitious Lord Farquaad, Shrek embarks on a quest to reclaim his peaceful life. Joined by the lively Donkey, he sets out to rescue Princess Fiona, who harbors a surprising secret.

With catchy songs, colorful characters, and a humorous twist on classic tales, the musical conveys important themes of acceptance, self-discovery, and true beauty. Audiences of all ages will be entertained by the engaging performances and vibrant storytelling.
