Earlier this year, students, faculty, and staff participated in the ADOM initiative "Reaching Souls Through Soles". Together we raised enough money to purchase 39 pairs of shoes for students in the Dominican Republic. As a program ambassador, junior Daniela Arezina was instrumental in assisting and represented Cardinal Gibbons in the Dominican Republic where she helped distribute the shoes.

"This was one of the most amazing service opportunities that I've ever been a part of," Daniella said. "To see the smiles on their faces was the most important part of this. I think that everyone needs to learn to be grateful for everything they have, and I think that's what they taught me."
