Cardinal Gibbons was one of nearly 170 middle and high school teams from around the United States in attendance.

Alex Dumas, Zach Dumas and Roberto Sosa competed in Varsity Lincoln-Douglas Debate, each qualifying for various elimination rounds. Alex Dumas qualified for the double-octofinal round, while Zach Dumas and Sosa qualified for the octofinal round.

Sosa, a junior, was also named "Best Speaker" in recognition of his outstanding performance in Lincoln-Douglas Debate.

The team is currently preparing for two more virtual tournaments, hosted by Emory and Harvard, scheduled for later this month.
