Robotics Competition

We are excited to host the 2nd Annual Bots by the Beach VEX V5 Robotics Competition on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in the Louise Crocco Gymnasium. The event will welcome 38 middle and high school teams from across South Florida, competing for awards and qualification spots to the Regional Championship—and potentially the World Championship.

Volunteer to Judge

We are seeking volunteers to serve as judges, and we would love for you to consider joining us!

What does a judge do?

Judges work in small panels to:

Interview student teams about their robot design, problem-solving process, and teamwork
Evaluate how students apply engineering concepts and communication skills
Deliberate with fellow judges to determine award recipients
No prior robotics experience is required. All judges receive training and support from a certified Judge Advisor on the day of the event.
