Twice a semester, students are given the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the Chapel of the Holy Family during their theology class. On days designated for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, several local priests from neighboring parishes volunteer their time to hear confessions.
Student who do not wish to participate in the sacrament on these days are welcome to quietly meditate or reflect on their own in the Chapel on these designated days.
At the beginning of the school year, seniors are selected to be commissioned as Eucharistic Ministers. In order to be considered for this honor, the student must be a senior, practicing the Roman Catholic faith in a parish, be up-to-date in his/her Community Service commitment and complete the Eucharistic Ministry training. The selection committee consists of members of the Theology Department, the Campus Minister and members of the Administration. The Rite of Commissioning is celebrated during an all-school Mass.
