State Sponsored Tuition Assistance
If a student wishes to apply for need-based financial aid they must apply through the Step Up for Students Scholarship (SUFS) or the Florida Private School Scholarship (AAA), and must also apply online through FACTS. Students are only eligible to receive funding from either SUFS or AAA, not both.
It is the responsibility of the parent(s)/guardian(s) to notify Cardinal Gibbons of any official decisions made concerning the Step Up for Students and Florida Private School Scholarship. Upon receiving a decision, please forward a copy of your denial or award letter to bost@cghsfl.org, so that your state funds can be properly processed or so that your account can be re-evaluated for Cardinal Gibbons sponsored financial aid. SUFS, AAA and FACTS applications must be re-submitted each year.
Cardinal Gibbons Tuition Assistance
Our Tuition Assistance program allows Cardinal Gibbons High School to assist in funding your child’s Catholic education. Families seeking financial assistance directly funded by Cardinal Gibbons High School must register online with FACTS and submit a FACTS application after they have applied for state tuition funding. All FACTS registration fees, as well as all current tuition accounts, must be paid in full before any financial aid application will be considered. Funding is limited and available on a first-come basis. Students must re-submit FACTS applications each year to qualify for financial aid.
Please be advised that all students who receive tuition assistance directly from Cardinal Gibbons High School will be enrolled in a mandatory work-study program. For more information regarding the work-study program, please contact Tim Davis, at davis@cghsfl.org.
