Academic Support

At Cardinal Gibbons High School, we believe in a holistic approach to education, where academic success is just one part of our students' growth. To support this belief, we've established a range of programs designed to address the various needs of our students, from academic tutoring to social and emotional support. These initiatives are part of our commitment to create a nurturing environment that fosters personal development, academic excellence, and emotional well-being. Whether it's through one-on-one mentoring, peer tutoring, or partnership with esteemed institutions for specialized support, our goal is to ensure every student has access to the resources they need to thrive. Below, you will find detailed information about our Student Mentoring Program, Links to Learning Peer Tutoring Program, and our collaboration with Nova Southeastern University for enhanced social, emotional, and learning support.

Student Mentoring Program

Cardinal Gibbons High School offers a Student Mentoring Program that has been developed to help students succeed through weekly mentoring and coaching. Students are assigned a peer or faculty mentor for the quarter. Mentoring consists of: organizational skills, communication with teachers, and goal development.
