The team will be hosting the annual Parent Breakfast and Meeting this Saturday (September 13th) at Mills Pond Park starting at 8:30am.

Families receive a team booklet, meet the coaches, and learn about volunteer opportunities. They may also run, jog, or walk our course, which is home to the County, District, and Regional Championships. Former Dolphins Pro Bowler John Offerdahl is scheduled to speak.

Please bring refreshments such as juice, sports drinks, fruit, donuts, muffins, or bagels. Also, we need water for our home meets. One case with individual bottles per family would be appreciated.

Mills Pond Park is located at 2201 NW 9th Avenue (Powerline Rd.) in Ft. Lauderdale (33311) just South of Oakland Park Blvd. Use MapQuest or the Google Maps inset on this page for help finding the park.

Preseason State Rankings

The first 2A cross country poll came out August 1st. It’s sponsored by the FACA (Florida Athletic Coaches Association) and hosted by flrunners.com

The Heifers (our girls) are ranked sixth, the same place we finished in Dade City last November. Our boys are ranked thirteenth, one place lower than last year’s finish, but a rare ranking for us nonetheless. We don’t have any individuals preseason ranked.
St. Thomas girls are ranked fourth in 3A. Of course defending National Champion Ashley Brasovan, now a senior at Wellington, is ranked first in 4A. Her PR’s: 4:55 (1600), 10:13 (3200), and 16:37 (5K).
