Trainer

Kerri Houck is in her first year as the trainer at Gibbons. She has her masters degree in athletic training from Florida International University in Miami. Ms. Houck played softball for Western High (Davie), and then for FIU. In high school, she was an All-State selection (pitching the Wildcats to a regional title), and the Sun-Sentinel's Player of the Year. Ms. Houck is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, and is fully certified by their Board of Certification. "I know what it's like to be an athlete and go through injuries, and need someone to help, both physically and mentally. I wanted to be a trainer back in high school. I love it here at Gibbons."
