Boys Basketball Takes District Crown

The Chiefs beat Archbishop McCarthy 55-37 on Saturday night at home to win their second consecutive District 15-4A Championship. Second-year head coach Marty Seidlin was excited for his team: "They worked hard. Great school. Terrific kids. They deserve this." Hashim Moore led all scorers with 27 points. Cardinal Gibbons (18-5) will host Belen Jesuit (19-9) in the regional quarterfinal next Thursday (the 18th) at 7:00.  2/13/10
