CHIEFS ATHLETICS

Cardinal Gibbons has a proud tradition of successful high school athletics.  For more than 50 years, the CGHS Athletic Department has produced numerous scholar-athletes, state championships, athletic scholarships and well rounded graduates. We look forward to watching the new group of student-athletes entering our school compete and grow alongside the returning student-athletes in the coming seasons.

There are several forms that must be completed prior to participating in any of our athletic programs. Every athlete must have an up-to-date physical with the proper ELIGIBILITY FORMS completed. These forms include the FHSAA approved physical forms that must be filled out by the doctor performing the physical. FREE PHYSICALS for all CGHS Athletes will be available on Saturday June 25th from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm at OrthopedixMD Centers of Excellence (formerly Meli Orthopedic). The Fall Season of sports is quickly approaching. Dates and criteria for FALL SPORTS TRYOUTS vary by individual sport. All forms and information are linked below. GO CHIEFS!
