FINANCIAL AID OPTIONS

OPTION 1: PARISHIONER TUITION REDUCTION
Cardinal Gibbons wants to support those who support the Church and our Catholic mission. Active parishioners of the Church, who support their parish and regularly attend Mass on both Sunday and Holy Days of Obligation, are eligible for a discretionary tuition reduction.
To verify that parents/guardians have been supporting members of their parish for the past year, a representative from Cardinal Gibbons will directly reach out to parish administrators for verification of active parishioner status through March, 2019. After the March deadline has passed, it then becomes the responsibility of the parent/guardian to contact the parish in order to obtain proof of support. Once active parishioner status has been established and verified, no changes will be made to the 2019-2020 tuition rate after August 1st.

OPTION 2: SIBLING DISCOUNT
Families with more than one student enrolled at Cardinal Gibbons for the designated school year are eligible for a multi-child reduction.

OPTION 3: TUITION ASSISTANCE
STATE-SPONSORED TUITION ASSISTANCE
Families may apply for need-based financial aid through the following State-Sponsored Programs:
1. Step-Up for Students (SUFS) www.stepupforstudents.org
2. Florida Private School Scholarship (AAA) www.aaascholarships.org
Students are only eligible to receive funding from either SUFS or AAA, not both. Please check SUFS and AAA websites for application deadlines / interest list.
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to notify Cardinal Gibbons Bookkeeping of any official decisions received concerning SUFS and AAA.

CARDINAL GIBBONS TUITION ASSISTANCE
Families may also apply now for additional need-based financial aid through Cardinal Gibbons Tuition Assistance Program, FACTS Grant and Aid (FACTS) https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3TNs1
Students will be considered for FACTS only if they have completed the following steps:
1. Registered (submitted $475 registration fee)
2. Activated FACTS Tuition Management Account
3. Applied to a State-Sponsored Program (SUFS or AAA)
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to notify Cardinal Gibbons Bookkeeping of any official decisions received concerning SUFS and AAA in order to receive FACTS.
Please be advised that all students who receive FACTS will be enrolled into a mandatory Work-Study Program requiring on-site service hours. Letters will be mailed to households over the summer concerning their child’s Work-Study assignment.
