Cardinal Gibbons' annual Open House will be held Sunday, October 23rd, from 12:30 to 3:30. The main presentation will begin at 1:00. Check out the event poster.

Drama Goes Into the Woods Nov. 17-20

The Cardinal Gibbons Drama Department will be performing Into the Woods at The Township Center for Performing Arts in Coconut Creek November 18th, 19th, and 20th with special invited grade school performances on the 17th and 18th. St. Coleman Students Win Brain Brawl

Five eighth graders from St. Coleman School (Pompano Beach) won CGHS' annual Brain Brawl on Saturday, October 8th in the Media Center. Mary Help of Christians (Parkland) was runner-up. St. Mark's Episcopal (Ft. Lauderdale) finished third. St. Ambrose (Deerfield Beach), and St. Andrew (Coral Springs) also competed.

Gibbons Spring Play is a Smash Hit

The family, friends, and students of CGHS were treated to five performances of Once Upon a Mattress in April at The Township Center for Performing Arts in Coconut Creek. The musical, based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Princess and the Pea, was put on by Cardinal Gibbons' Drama Department. Students from St. Anthony, St. Coleman, St. Ambrose, Lighthouse Christian, and Shepherd of the Coast schools watched the premiere on Thursday and Friday morning.

Top Freshman Students Awarded Laptops

Eleven freshman were given CGHS laptops at the start of the year for scoring in the top three percent nationally on the High School Placement Test. "It's important to recognize young students who achieve academically," said principal Mr. Paul Ott. Click "read more" to see a list of the students' names.

Class of 2010 Earns $12,276,152 in Scholarships
