Philosophy
The faculty of Cardinal Gibbons High School encourages students to strive for academic leadership which is characterized by a positive attitude, proper performance, responsibility to self, and responsibility to class. The school attempts to design courses which correspond to the specific needs of the students at both ends of the educational spectrum while challenging students to attain their highest potential without frustrating their natural ability. Additionally, the faculty strives to develop close ties with the parents of the students in an effort to involve them more directly in the education of their children. They understand the need to establish closer ties between teachers and counselors in an effort to identify, and where possible, to assist in the personal, social, and academic difficulties of the students.
Accredition
Cardinal Gibbons is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and holds membership in the National Catholic Education Association and the Florida Catholic Conference.
