2017-18 INCOMING FRESHMEN - Congratulations to the Class of 2021!!
As a final step to your Registration process please be sure to provide the following items if not yet submitted:
- Florida Immunization 680 Form
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Social Security Number
- Final 8th grade report card (with EOC if applicable ) must be received by June 30, 2017 (admission and course placement is contingent upon final report card, especially for High School credits.)
Accepted students who have not yet registered please be advised that specific classes are reaching their maximum capacity. Please call as soon as possible to register, to ensure your seat and avoid the late registration fee.
The Language and Math Placement Test will be administered Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 8:00am for those students who wish to test into Upper Level and Honors classes. Each test is 90 minutes and calculators are allowed.
Students who have not taken the HSPT there are very few seats remaining for the make-up test date on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 8:00 am. Please call Admissions to RSVP then visit the "HOW TO APPLY" tab to fill out your application to ensure your seat. Please have your child in the main office by 7:45. In order to be considered we must receive the following items prior to the test date (please continue to check your Admissions Check List):
1. 7th Grade report card
2. 8th grade report card (for 1st and 2nd quarter)
3. Standardized Tests scores
4. Two (2) Letters of Recommendations from current 8th grade teachers
If you have already taken the HSPT at another high school and still wish to apply to Cardinal Gibbons, please complete the application, but do not pay the testing fee. You will need to forward your HSPT results to Cardinal Gibbons. Your application will be placed on the waiting list and will be reviewed after we receive the above four (1-4) items required.
2017-18 TRANSFER APPLICANTS: are being accepted for the 2017-2018 school year and will be reviewed beginning April 1, 2017 as long as your application checklist is completed. Please proceed to "How to Apply" to submit your application and view the checklist materials needed to begin the review process.
